You don’t want the new Rockingham Memorial Hospital to be all sterile-looking, do you? Of course not. So help them out by submitting your artwork for display at the new RMH.
“I encourage all artists to submit their work for review. Aside from an opportunity for visibility, it is an opportunity to allow their art to contribute to healing and wellness in our community,” says Kai Degner, the executive director of the Arts Council of the Valley and a member of the committee that will review the range of art media that will one day be featured in the lobby, hallways, patient rooms and restaurant at RMH.
The committee is accepting submissions through Nov. 30.
Submissions by artists should:
- Convey the style of the artists’ work.
- Include digital images of artwork.
- Include artist biography.
- Preferably be in the form of a website or e-mail with attachments.
For more information, go online at the Arts Council of the Valley website.
