Clean coal is a myth of the coal industry. How many years ago, twenty, did we learn why the Blue Ridge isn't blue any more because of coal-fired electricty plants? Coal is actually in competition with nuclear power, if anyone wants to think it out, which no one seems to care to do. Either, but not both, would provide the largest part of electricity if given the breaks. And that is why they support the usual party, which isn't above pretending that somehow it's Democrats who are their opponents. Breaks for sale: All special interests considered! In fact they and the oil interests are clearly supporting a presidential candidate who can't seem to figure out the difference in which offers what, as long as someone will keep lending him campaign funds. Keep up the straight talk, John. Face this way. No, that.

Good thing I've got this year's firewood. But a nuclear plant would work better.
