Alan Christopher has been named vice president of risk management at the DuPont Community Credit Union.

Christopher, of Lovingston, has been with the credit union for four years and has 16 years of experience in financial institutions. His new position will give him responsibility for compliance, fraud and internal-controls measures in addition to providing guidance and consultation on various DCCU initiatives.

“DuPont Community Credit Union is very fortunate to have Alan as part of our organization advising our staff on compliance and other related issues,” said Gerald Hershey, the president and CEO of DuPont Community Credit Union.

“His experience and guidance is very valuable to the credit union in the ever changing regulatory environment,” Hershey said.
