AFP political correspondent Mike Hodge examines the impact of the court ruling in California on that state’s gay-marriage ban has had on gay and lesbian couples who are now able to marry.
Hodge interviews Sharon Papo, who recently married her longtime lesbian companion, and asks her what she expects will change in their life now that they can have the legal recognition that formal state-sanctioned marriage brings.
