A four- to five-point lead for Barack Obama. That is the story in today’s poll data from Rasmussen Reports and Gallup.

WIth leaners included, Obama holds the same 49 percent-to-44 percent edge over John McCain in the Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll that he held yesterday. Today is the 12th straight day that Obama has been at 49 percent in the Rasmussen poll.

Obama gained a point in the Gallup daily tracking poll, to move to a 47 percent-to-43 percent lead over McCain.
