Pediatrician talks about new approach

Charlottesville doctor Eric Rydland takes an interesting approach to medicine.
A classically trained pediatrician, Rydland often chooses to treat his young patients with herbal remedies rather than prescription drugs.
“Mom and Dad typically aren’t in a position to determine which products and dosages are both effective and safe, and they often don’t feel comfortable making those decisions on their own. That’s where holistic pediatrics can help,” said Rydland, who will speak on the subject of holistic healing for children on Saturday, May 31, at Cranberry’s Eatery and Grocery in Downtown Staunton.
The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
The talk is free and open to the public.
