White House historian to speak at Wilson Library next week

White House historian Dr. William Seale will be the keynote speaker at the third annual Wilson/Woodrow/Bolling/Axson First Families Reunion next week.
Seale’s talk, “The Wilsons of the White House,” will be delivered on Friday, May 9, at 4 p.m. on the Emily Smith Terrace at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library in Staunton.
The event is free and open to the public. RSVP to Maria Vera at the Presidential Library at mvera@woodrowwilson.org or 540.885.0897, ext. 109.
Seale is the author of The President’s House: A History of the White House, The White House: The History of an American Idea, and The White House Garden. Seale is also a former curator of American Culture at the Smithsonian Institution.
