Webcast: DEQ leading effort to study water quality in South River

Today we talk with Robert Brent of the Harrisonburg office of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality about water-quality issues involving the South River.

Brent has been leading an effort to collect data regarding water quality in the South River, and will be a liasion between the DEQ and a local steering committee that will meet for the first time on April 30 at the Waynesboro Public Library to discuss strategies for improving the study plan that has been in the works.
