UVa. guard Sharnee Zoll and JMU guard Tamera Young are among the 20 players invited to the 2008 WNBA Draft.

Zoll, a 5-7 point guard, and Young, a 6-2 shooting guard, will join luminaries including Tennessee center Candice Parker, LSU star Sylvia Fowles and ACC standouts Crystal Langhorne and Laura Harper from Maryland and Erlana Larkins from UNC.

Zoll averaged 8.5 points and 6.3 assists per game for Virginia this year. She broke the legendary Dawn Staley’s career UVa. women’s basketball record for assists earlier this year, finishing with 785 assists in her four years in Charlottesville.

Young averaged 20.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game for JMU in 2007-2008.
